Getting ready for Womadelaide

Mock ups and templates
7 FebDespite designing the vehicle using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, we still make mockups of some components to check that they ‘look right’ in the real world before we make the final versions, and we make templates to guide some material cutouts.

Pre-painting preparations
31 DecWith chassis fabrication complete, we spent a couple of hours yesterday sanding off any high spots and filling any low spots to make the body smooth and tactile, ready for painting. We’re also experimenting with sections of automotive carpet for the vehicle floor areas.
